Have you ever been to a clothing market or collective store? The Happy Rack is similar to that, but instead of having to sell your own garments, we do it for you!
Here’s how to rent-a-rack with us and how the process works. ConsignHub is our custom app where you can make your rack booking, upload your items, apply discounts and manage your rack rental in one simple application.
How it works
Create an account and book your rack size and duration through our rental portal, ConsignHub. A Saturday rental means you will arrive with your clothes between 8:00am and 9:00am on the first day of your rental and pack down on the last Friday of your rental between 4:00 and 5:00pm. The number of the rack you book is the number you will be on for your rental period.
A two week rental = 12 days (The Happy Rack is closed on Mondays).

Once you have booked and paid for your rental period through our booking portal, we will confirm your details and send you a SELLER GUIDE with instructions on how to prepare your rack. Via the My Items tab, you can upload and print off your clothing tags before the first day of your rental. Please check your junk folder for your rack number. You can do this via mobile or desktop.
In your settings, you will be able to provide bank details, click whether you would like sales updates at the end of the day or after the sale, as well as see what items have sold and for how much.

Bring your preloved items into our store at 4/498 Waterworks Road, Ashgrove on the first day of your rental.
We suggest allowing at least 30 minutes to park and place your items on your rack, with your tags securely attached to your items with string or safety pins. We provide the rack and the hangers. Please put your shoes in our designated shoe area and grab a size card from the counter.

The best part about The Happy Rack is that you don’t have to be in the store to sell your clothes. Our friendly staff handle it all for you.

Need to know
Replenishing your rack
As items sell, you can top up your rack anytime during opening hours. You will need to upload and print more tags via ConsignHub.
Discounting
You can add a discount to your rack via the My Items tab on ConsignHub. You can choose to add an overall sale or a sale to individual items. Items will automatically update when scanned at POS. Let HR staff know if you have added a discount so we can add a sign to your rack advising of the sale.
Sales updates
You can choose to receive an update after every sale or at the end of the day.
Return customers
The benefit of having rack numbers available for booking is that if you return as a seller, you can easily pick the same rack number you had last time.
